The BPPV Self Help app, developed by Today’s New Idea, aims to assist individuals dealing with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) in implementing the Brandt-Daroff exercise program.

The Brandt-Daroff exercises are a widely recognized treatment regimen for BPPV, designed to be performed easily at home. Typically spanning two weeks, this exercise program consists of a series of straightforward movements that need to be repeated throughout the day.

However, the repetitive nature of these exercises can lead to difficulties in tracking progress, making it easy for users to lose their place in the routine.

The BPPV Self Help app addresses these challenges by guiding users in maintaining the correct positions during each stage of the exercises and effectively monitoring their progress throughout the program.

Key features of the app include:

It is essential to note that while the app is compatible with larger iPad models, we do not recommend their use for this exercise regimen due to size and weight considerations. Smaller iPad versions are better suited, although two-handed operation may still be necessary.

As a "not-for-profit" organization, Today’s New Idea allocates all proceedings from the app's sales toward its development and future educational applications intended for user benefit.
